ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
Freshwater Malawi is registered under the Trustees Act of Malawi and all the board of trustees are Malawians headed by the Chairman. The day-to-day operations of the organization are implemented by the following full-time staff:

Executive Director
Charles Banda is the Executive Director and Founder of Freshwater Malawi. Mr. Banda has been the Executive Director ever since its beginning. He has been the driving force behind the success that Freshwater has enjoyed. He has lived and worked in the area all his life and he is well known by people in all levels of society here in Malawi.

Mr. Banda has studied, lived and worked in the United Kingdom; Audited a masters class at Graduate School for social work at University of Denver, Colorado, USA; and holds a Diploma in community Development obtained at MS Training Centre, Arusha, Tanzania. Before his involvement in Freshwater, Mr. Banda was trained as a social worker and worked at different times as a firefighter and a taxi business operator. He brings many skills to the organization, but his main strength lies in his integrity and his commitment to the objectives of the organization.

Program Manager
Responsible for all program planning implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Also responsible for program report and ensure expenses are done timely and according to budget lines.  

Water And Sanitation Engineer
In-charge of all technical activities and responsible for planning supervision of field ensuring that program objectives are made.

Accountant
Responsible for management of funds.

Administration Officer
Responsible for human resource management.

Secretary/Receptionist

Head Driller/Field Technician
Drilling of Boreholes.

Artisans
Water point and latrine construction.

Field Technicians
Local technology promoter and trainer.

Social Workers
Community sensitization, mobilization and training.

Driver/Mechanic
Driving and Routine maintenance of vehicles.
